I grew up in Southern California, majoring in Film at the University of California, Irvine, where I also worked at student-run KUCI 88.9FM as a DJ, news announcer & News Director.  In 1990, I went to Costa Rica as a part of UC's Education Abroad Program. I studied at Universidad de Costa Rica, taking video & radio production classes in the Collective Communication Department and working at the university TV station.  That year of school began a twelve-year stay in Costa Rica where, among other things, I produced videos for a real estate company.  Returning to the States, I settled in Pensacola, FL, and in 2007 returned to TV production with DL Martin Ministries and their show, Real Life.  In 2008, I went to Digital Media Education as a student / intern, later becoming a producer / director and sometimes (co) host of our Spanish productions. Since 2011, I've been blessed to visit a number of countries in North, Central & South America as well as in Asia as a working missionographer. Today I live with my wife, Melissa, and our family in Hamilton, Alabama.

The world is waiting to hear about the lives Jesus is changing. Your partnership will help me:

  • Be a missionographer to go where the stories are being written, capture them, and tell the world. Most field missionaries don't have the budget for any sort of production, much less the time or talent to do it. Your support connects me to them so I can meet their need. If you know a missionary who needs his or her story told, you can send me there!

  • Train the next generation at Missionographer Training Academy. My dream is to see the body of Christ use all the modern tools to passionately and creatively tell the story of what Jesus is doing in the world. I want to see these adventurers answer the call and step into their destinies, bridging the digital media gap between the stories and the audience.

  • Minister in the field.   The ministry God gave me is more than just behind the camera. He's asked me to participate wherever opportunities arise, from praying deliverance to the demon-possessed in Nepal to speaking to Indian pastors & leaders in southern Mexico.
