UPCOMING NEEDS:
FUNDING FOR MISSIONOGRAPHY TRIP TO BARBADOS |
I am planning an upcoming trip to Barbados to teach missionography to new students. I am truly excited about this opportunity and passionate to train our next generation on using their talents to bring all glory to God! But I need your help!
With your help I'll be to travel to Barbados, August 21st-27th.
At the age of 14, I was introduced to media, by a non-profit organization, Digital Media Education. There, I was taught how to
produce videos and I learned how media can make a positive impact in our world. It was there that I learned about Matthew 25:14-30 The Parable of the Talents. To summarize, A Lord gave three of his servants money (talents), one was given five talents, another, two, and the last received one. When he left on his journey, the first two servants used their talents to double their initial talent, however, the servant with one talent dug a hole and buried it. After a period of time, the master returned and the first two servants who double their money were highly praised, " Well done, my good and faithful servant. You have been faithful in handling this small amount, so now I will give you.many more responsibilities." (Matthew 25:23 NLT). As for the one who was afraid and buried his money, the Master was upset with him and took his talent gave his it to the first servant.
This resonated with me, and ever since, I have been using the talent that God has given me. I eventually became a member of DME, where I taught local as well as international students digital media. For 7 years I was Media Director at New Dimensions Christian Center. In 2007, I taught a group of inner city girls, from Milk and Honey Ministries, called 7 Angels how to produce videos. Also, I was blessed to work at the Christian Television Network (CTN), in Pensacola, FL as the Master Control Operator and Production Asst. It was during that time, I met my Husband, Justin Pierce, we married February 4, 2009. Currently I am the mother of three little ones, Danessa-7, Justina-5, and Johnathan- 3. I can truly, say through the good and the bad my daddy, God has been good to me and has kept his promise in Matthew 25:23. Wow! sometimes it takes, writing a Bio to be reminded how good Our God is!! Recently, I went through Missionography as a student and a teacher.
In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
