Growing up I loved to tell stories. I was the kid that made up all kinds of crazy stories to his family members just to see what kind of reaction he could get out of them. I was the kid that wrote a 30-page book in 1st grade when our assignment was to write a couple pages. And now I get to tell stories for a living. God's stories. So I believe I get to tell the best stories out there. But with that comes a load of responsibility. Because His stories deserve to be told with excellence.
That's how Lantern Vision started. I was working in video production for my alma mater, Samford University, when God led me to start Lantern Vision. I was seeing wonderful, Christ-centered ministries try to visually tell their story on their own to save a buck (and the story got lost), or I saw ministries recognize the value of professionally produced visual stories and break the bank to get it done. I just knew there had to be some kind of middle ground. Enter Lantern Vision, a 501(c)3 non-profit video production house formed to serve Christian ministries by using outside funds to help reduce production costs for ministries.
Lantern Vision was created in 2011, and God has shown me (Nathan) unbelievable things during that time. He has proven over and over again just how faithful He is, even when I doubted. Since that time I have worked with ministries to produce short promotional films in over 20 different countries. I truly feel blessed to live out this calling, and I cannot wait to see what God has in store next.
